Production Manager – Networking & Communication Equipment STQ (SAN Telequip Pvt. Ltd.) | Baner, Pune | Full time | 10+ years experience ROLE AT A GLANCE Department Production (Head of Production) Reports to Director / Head – Operations Team size 8–10 (supervisors, technicians, operators) Location Baner, Pune PRODUCTS Ethernet Switches, Routers, IoT Gateways, Media Converters, Protocol Converters, Surge Suppression Devices and Terminal Servers – a high-mix, low-to-medium volume industrial portfolio. ROLE SUMMARY Head the production department and deliver on-time, right-first-time output – from material readiness and PCB assembly through testing, QC and dispatch – while leading and developing the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Plan and run daily/weekly production in line with sales orders and dispatch commitments
· Manage PCB assembly, soldering, rework, box build, firmware loading, configuration and final testing
· Coordinate with Stores and Purchase on material availability, shortages and alternate parts
· Work with R&D; on new product introduction – pilot builds, work instructions and BOM checks
· Maintain test jigs and setups (Ethernet, PoE, serial, burn-in) and ensure every unit is tested
· Drive quality: reduce rework,



scrap and field failures; lead root-cause and corrective actions
· Ensure ISO 9001, MTCTE/BIS and CE compliance, ESD discipline and serial-number traceability
· Allocate manpower, train and multi-skill the team, and handle shop-floor discipline
· Apply 5S, Kaizen and Lean practices to improve productivity and cycle time
· Report production MIS and KPIs to management; maintain records in ERP QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Tech in Electronics / E&TC; / Electrical (Diploma with solid experience considered)
· 10+ years in electronics manufacturing, with 4+ years leading a production team
· Hands-on experience with networking, telecom or IoT hardware
· Good knowledge of PCBA processes, testing, quality systems and ERP/BOM KEY SKILLS
· Team leadership and people management
· Production planning and on-time delivery
· Problem solving (8D / 5-Why)
