Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will identify and develop new business opportunities and drive growth in certification. The role will collaborate closely with marketing, technical, and training teams to support go-to-market initiatives and promote BRCGS Standards and Academy courses.

Qualifications

- Business development and sales skills,



including lead generation, pipeline management, and account growth.
- Relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders and present complex information clearly.
- Strategic and analytical skills, such as market research, opportunity assessment, and data-driven decision-making.
- Planning and organizational skills, including time management, prioritization, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Minimum 5 years Experience in standards, certification, food safety sector is beneficial.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and common business software tools (e.g., Word, Excel, presentation tools).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort with virtual collaboration and occasional travel for client meetings, events, or internal workshops when required.
