Position: Consultant Ophthalmologist – Phaco Surgeon

Department: Ophthalmology

Qualification

- MS/DNB in Ophthalmology or DO from a recognized institution.
- Training and experience in Phacoemulsification surgery.
- Valid medical registration.

Key Responsibilities

- Examine, diagnose, and manage patients with various eye conditions.
- Perform cataract surgeries using phacoemulsification techniques.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups.
- Manage cataract cases and other common ophthalmic conditions.
- Perform routine ophthalmic procedures as per clinical expertise.
- Counsel patients regarding surgical procedures, treatment options, and eye care.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure high standards of patient care.

Candidate Requirements





- Strong clinical and surgical expertise in ophthalmology.
- Hands-on experience in phacoemulsification cataract surgery.
- Positive diagnostic, communication, and patient-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the hospital team.
- Freshers with relevant phaco training and experienced candidates may apply, subject to surgical competency.
