Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-level Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions.

The candidate should have strong expertise across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, along with hands-on knowledge of Salesforce development, integrations, data architecture, security, and governance.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking, solution design capabilities, and strong client-facing communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Salesforce Solution Architecture

- Lead end-to-end Salesforce architecture and solution design for enterprise initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Design solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
- Develop architecture documents, technical specifications, data models, and integration designs.
- Ensure adherence to Salesforce architecture best practices.

2. Existing Platform Assessment & Optimization

- Assess existing Salesforce implementations and identify architectural gaps.
- Review customizations, configurations, integrations, workflows, and data models.
- Identify and reduce technical debt while improving system performance.
- Establish architecture standards and design principles.

3. Digital Transformation & New Initiatives

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business objectives and requirements.
- Lead technical discovery sessions and architecture workshops.
- Evaluate Salesforce standard functionality, custom development, and AppExchange solutions.
- Define implementation roadmaps,



technical priorities, dependencies, and risks.

4. Salesforce Integration & AppExchange

- Design and govern integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications.
- Work with AppExchange solutions such as Blackthorn.
- Define API strategies, middleware, authentication, and data synchronization mechanisms.
- Evaluate third-party applications based on business and technical requirements.
- Ensure seamless integration across enterprise systems.

5. Data & Security Architecture

- Design scalable Salesforce data models and data access strategies.
- Implement Salesforce security and sharing mechanisms, including:
- Profiles and Permission Sets
- Permission Set Groups
- Role Hierarchy
- Sharing Rules
- Organization-Wide Defaults (OWD)
- Experience Cloud external-user security
- Ensure data quality, privacy, governance, migration, and retention standards.

6. Technical Leadership & Governance

- Act as the primary Salesforce technical advisor for clients.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.
- Establish Salesforce development standards and governance practices.
- Mentor Salesforce developers, administrators, and implementation partners.
- Document architectural decisions and technical recommendations.

7. Client & Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with business leaders, product owners, developers, and technical teams.
- Conduct requirement-gathering and solution-design workshops.
- Communicate technical concepts effectively to business stakeholders.
- Recommend solutions considering scalability, cost, timelines, and long-term business value.

Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of overall Salesforce experience.
- Robust experience in Salesforce architecture and enterprise solution design.
- Proven experience designing complex Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds.
- Experience managing large-scale Salesforce implementations and technical debt.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and third-party applications.
- Experience in architecture reviews, technical governance, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work directly with clients and senior business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect.
- Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar middleware platforms.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and Salesforce DevOps tools.
- Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
- Experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud or nonprofit business processes.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with event management, payment, marketing, finance, and constituent-management platforms.
