Role Description The IAM Developer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining identity and access management solutions that ensure secure, efficient, and compliant access to enterprise systems. This full-time remote role involves configuring IAM platforms, integrating applications with authentication and authorization services, and managing user lifecycle processes such as provisioning, deprovisioning, and role management. The IAM Developer will collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams to define access policies, troubleshoot access issues, and optimize IAM workflows. Daily activities include developing and maintaining scripts and APIs for automation, monitoring system performance and security events, and documenting technical designs and standards.



The role also requires staying current with IAM best practices and contributing to continuous improvements in security posture and user experience. Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including authentication, authorization, Single Sign-On (SSO), and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Experience with IAM platforms or tools (such as Okta, Azure AD, Keycloak, Ping, or similar solutions) and integration of applications using standard protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
• Proficiency in programming or scripting languages (for example, Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, or PowerShell) to build integrations and automate IAM processes.
• Solid understanding of security principles, best practices, and compliance requirements related to user access, data protection, and application security.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, REST services, and directory services (LDAP, Active Directory) for user and group management.
• Ability to analyze requirements, translate them into technical designs, and produce explicit documentation and process flows.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work independently in a remote, Agile environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant certifications (such as security or IAM-related certifications) are a plus and demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
