Role Description The Accountant role at Falcon Traders is a full time, on-site position based in Srinagar. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing vouchers and invoices. Responsibilities include reconciliations of bank accounts and vendor/retailer statements, monitoring accounts payable and receivable, and assisting in budgeting and cash flow management. The role also involves preparing periodic financial reports, supporting audits,



ensuring compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements, and coordinating with internal teams to keep financial records accurate and up to date. Qualifications
• Strong skills in bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial record-keeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software (such as Tally, ERP systems, or similar tools) and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of taxation, invoicing, and basic regulatory compliance relevant to FMCG distribution.
• Ability to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and support budgeting and cash flow planning.
• Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external partners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications are an advantage.
• Prior experience in accounting within trading, distribution, or FMCG sectors is preferred.
