Job Purpose To manage and execute residential, commercial and industrial rooftop solar projects, ensuring proper system design, material planning, installation, commissioning, quality control and customer satisfaction. 2. Key Roles & Responsibilities A. Solar System Design & Engineering
* Prepare solar system layouts and technical drawings.
* Calculate solar panel capacity and inverter sizing.
* Prepare Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
* Calculate DC and AC cable sizes.
* Prepare earthing and lightning protection layouts.
* Understand electrical load requirements and grid connectivity. B. Project Execution & Site Management
* Manage complete rooftop solar installation projects.
* Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies.
* Supervise solar panel mounting structure installation.
* Monitor panel, inverter, ACDB and DCDB installation.
* Ensure proper cable routing, earthing and safety.
* Coordinate with installation teams and contractors. C. Testing & Commissioning
* Perform electrical testing and system inspections.
* Check ACDB, DCDB, MCB, MCCB and SPD connections.
* Verify inverter configuration and grid synchronization.
* Check solar generation and system performance.
* Prepare commissioning and testing reports. D. Material & Inventory Management
* Prepare project-wise BOQ and material requirements.
* Coordinate with purchase and store departments.
* Verify the quality and quantity of received materials.
* Maintain project material consumption records. E. Government Documentation & Subsidy Work
* Handle PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana technical documentation.




* Coordinate with DISCOM for inspection and net-metering.
* Manage technical details on the National Portal.
* Prepare installation photographs and completion reports.
* Coordinate subsidy-related technical requirements. F. Team & Customer Coordination
* Manage installation technicians and site workers.
* Coordinate with sales, purchase and documentation teams.
* Provide technical support to customers.
* Resolve installation and system-related complaints.
* Submit daily project progress reports to management. 3. Required Technical Knowledge
* Solar PV system design and installation.
* On-grid, off-grid and hybrid solar systems.
* Solar panels: TOPCon, Mono PERC and bifacial.
* String and three-phase solar inverters.
* ACDB, DCDB, SPD, MCB, MCCB and isolators.
* Electrical wiring, cable sizing and earthing.
* AutoCAD and MS Excel.
* SLD preparation and electrical testing.
* Knowledge of PM Surya Ghar guidelines and DISCOM procedures. 4. Educational Qualification
* Diploma / B.
E. / B.
Tech in Electrical Engineering.
* Electrical or Renewable Energy background preferred. 5. Experience
* Freshers with good technical knowledge may apply.
* 1–3 years of experience in solar EPC projects preferred. 6. Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
* Timely completion of assigned projects.
* Installation quality and safety compliance.
* Minimum technical and installation errors.
* Proper material utilization.
* Timely commissioning and DISCOM coordination.
