You’ll be the functional point of contact for Sales & Distribution and Materials Management on a live S/4HANA system, working directly with business users to keep order-to-cash and procure-to-pay running. This is hands-on support work: when a sales order won’t price correctly, a delivery won’t post goods issue, or an inbound IDoc sits in error, you’re the person who works out why. You’ll sit alongside the technical team rather than handing off to them — you diagnose the functional cause, and where code is involved you write the spec and test the fix. What you’ll be doing
• Incident triage and resolution across SD and MM: take tickets from business users, reproduce the issue, establish root cause, resolve it or escalate with a explicit analysis
• Work the O2C chain end to end — quotation,



sales order, delivery, picking, goods issue, billing — and diagnose where a document flow has stalled
• Work the P2P chain — purchase requisition, purchase order, goods receipt, invoice verification — including release strategies and account assignment questions
• Investigate pricing issues using condition analysis, condition records and the pricing procedure
• Monitor and reprocess interfaces: IDocs in error, failed message processing, and the re-run once the underlying data is fixed
• Master data: validate and troubleshoot Material Master and Business Partner records, and support mass maintenance where needed
• Write and execute functional test cases for changes, patches and releases, and coordinate user acceptance testing

• Support users on Fiori apps and document what you resolve — runbooks, known-error notes and short user guides What we’re looking forExperience — 5–7 years in SAP with hands-on S/4HANA exposure, including time on a live production system rather than implementation projects only. Process knowledge — working SD and MM across O2C and P2P. You understand how a sales order becomes a delivery and then an invoice,



how a purchase order becomes a goods receipt and then a vendor invoice, and what breaks in between. Comfortable with pricing, goods movements and billing. Master data — Material Master and Business Partner: the views, the organisational levels, and the errors that come from getting them wrong. Troubleshooting — you can read an SAP error and work forwards from it. Basic familiarity with the underlying tables helps you confirm what the screen is telling you. You know how to monitor and reprocess IDocs, and you understand in principle how middleware sits between SAP and the systems around it. Testing — you can write a functional test case from a requirement and execute it properly, rather than clicking through and declaring it fine. Ways of working — SAP Fiori, a ticketing tool, and the rhythm of production support. Clear written and spoken English, and the confidence to talk to a business user who is frustrated and not technical. Nice to have
