Job Information Description KPI Partners is seeking a skilled Data Security Engineer
- SQL DBA to join our dynamic team. This position will focus on ensuring the highest level of data security for our SQL databases hosted in the Azure setting. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of data security principles, best practices, and the tools necessary to safeguard sensitive information.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage data security measures for SQL databases in Azure.
- Monitor and assess the security of database environments and respond to potential threats or vulnerabilities.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to secure data throughout the development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, processes, and guidelines for data protection.
- Troubleshoot database security issues and provide remediation strategies.




- Stay updated on emerging data security threats and technologies to enhance current practices. Required

Skills:
- Proven experience in data security, particularly focused on SQL databases.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services and security features related to data protection.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and others pertinent to data security.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in data security or database administration are a plus.
