Summary

As a member of the worldwide IT Trade Finance Operation team located in Paris, Portugal and Bengaluru, covering the entire Natixis presence in the APME & AMER & Europe region, your duties are to:

Develop and customize FBTI using the SDK, and work on linked interfaces.Support Level 1 IT Support team by handling escalated technical incidents that require SDK-level investigation

Roles and Responsibility :

FBTI Customisation & Development

- Develop and maintain customisation on Finastra Fusion Trade Innovation (FTI) using the FTI SDK

- Design, build and test custom workflows, screens, rules and validations within the FTI framework

- Implement business requirements translated from the Trade Finance functional team into technical solutions

- Manage and version control all customisation artifacts following development best practices

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to FBTI customisation and core platform behaviour

- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) on recurring system issues and propose permanent fixes

- Support Level 1 IT Support team by handling escalated technical incidents that require SDK-level investigation

- Analyse and fix issues related to:

- Interface and integration failures

- Database and transaction data anomalies

Integration & Interfaces

- Develop and maintain interfaces between FBTI and other internal systems (Core Banking, Payments, Reporting tools, accounting layers)

- Support API-based integrations where applicable within the Finastra ecosystem

- Troubleshoot and fix batch jobs, file transfers and automated processing linked to FBTI

- Testing & Quality Assurance

- Write and execute unit tests and integration tests for all developed customisation

- Support Test phases by assisting IT & business users and resolving defects

- Perform regression testing after Finastra patches and version upgrades

- Ensure customisation remain compatible and stable following platform upgrades

- Perform Robot test automation update

- Release & Deployment





- Follow change management and release procedures for all deployments

- Maintain deployment documentation and release notes

- Support post-deployment validation and hyper-care period after releases

- Coordinate with Finastra technical teams when required for patch applications and version upgrades

- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

- Produce and maintain technical documentation for all customisation (design documents, technical specs, code comments)

- Contribute to the team knowledge base with technical troubleshooting guides

- Share knowledge with Level 1 support team to improve first-line resolution rate

- Document SDK best practices and coding standards for the team

- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

- Work closely with Business Analysts and functional team to understand trade finance requirements and translate them into technical solutions

- Collaborate with Finastra vendor teams for technical escalations, SDK guidance and product roadmap alignment

- Participate in technical workshops and requirement sessions

- Liaise with infrastructure, security and DBA teams for environment and database related topics

Skills :

- Master's degree in Computer science, Software Engineering, IT or related field

- 2 5 years of experience in software development or technical application support

- Hands-on experience with FTI SDK Must have

- Valuable understanding of LC, Collections and Bank Guarantee products and processing workflows and SWIFT MT7xx message standards are appreciated

- Proficiency in programming languages used within FBTI SDK (Java 21, XML, SQL, Springboot, Shell, UML, Selenium)

- Tooling familiarity with:

- Version control tools: Git

- Monitoring tool : Grafana, MQ, Control-M

- DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines: Jenkins, XLD, XLRelease, Openshift

- Ticketing and documentation tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence,

- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset

- Ability to work autonomously and within an international team

- Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced banking environment

- Willingness to work in on-call or shift arrangements during critical releases
