Job Description:

Operational maintenance services for the Trade Operation IS test environments:

- Installation or initialization of environments
- Monitoring of batches and messages
- incident resolution and support for users, business analysts, and developers
- continuous improvement (technical, organizational, and processes) and automation

This mission could potentially be extended to production environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Control-M Management: includes understanding job scheduling, dependencies, and handling job failures.
- Log Analysis: Analyze application and server logs (e.g., from JBoss/Tomcat) to identify and diagnose issues.
- Shell Scripting: Write and execute Shell scripts for automation, log manipulation, and routine system tasks.
- SQL Operations: Write and execute SQL queries for data retrieval and basic database troubleshooting.
- Deployment Support: Assist in the coordination and execution of application deployments, leveraging tools like Jenkins and ensuring alignment with established processes.
- Incident Resolution: Participate in the identification, investigation, and resolution of production incidents.
- Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement solutions.
- Documentation: Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge bases.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements.
- Utilize Git for version control, including branching, merging,



and pull requests.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code.
- Gain experience with CI/CD principles, potentially working with Jenkins.

Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: proven experience in Application Support, Environment Management, or DevSecOps Engineering within a complex enterprise environment (preferably Capital Markets or Transaction Banking).
- Finance Knowledge: prior configuration or support experience with Finastra Fusion Banking Trade Innovation (FBTI) is highly appreciated.
- Automation Mindset: robust automation-first focus with documented success utilizing CI/CD and Scripting to reduce manual overhead.
- Analytical Skills: stellar root-cause investigative skills with the ability to navigate multi-tiered technical architectures (Front/Back/Middleware).
- Communication: strong collaborative skills to work effectively with international teams across France, Asia, and the Americas. Ability to draft clear technical documentation and playbooks.
