Full-Stack Developer, Java + Spring Boot + ReactJS (4–7 years, 2 positions)

Must-have skills

Backend: Java and Spring Boot

- Core Java 8+: OOP, collections, exception handling, streams
- Spring Boot: building REST APIs, controllers, services, repositories
- Spring Data JPA / Hibernate for database operations
- Request validation and global exception handling

Frontend: ReactJS

- React functional components and hooks (useState, useEffect)
- Props, state, forms, and conditional rendering
- Calling REST APIs from React (Axios or fetch) and handling responses and errors
- JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, CSS3

Database

- SQL: joins, aggregations, writing and debugging queries
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server
- Basic table and relationship design

APIs and integration

- Building and consuming RESTful APIs
- Connecting a React frontend to a Spring Boot backend end to end
- API testing with Postman or Swagger

Security basics

- Login and authentication flows, JWT
- Role-based access fundamentals
- Input validation and secure coding basics

Engineering practices

- Git: branching, pull requests,



resolving merge conflicts
- Unit testing with JUnit and Mockito
- Debugging and fixing issues across UI, API, and database
- Taking part in code reviews
- Agile/Scrum way of working

Good to have

- TypeScript
- Java 17+
- Microservices
- Redux or Context API for state management
- CI/CD (GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions)
- Docker
- Azure (AWS or GCP also acceptable)
- Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus
- SaaS product experience

What the candidate should be able to do

- Deliver a feature end to end on their own: React screen, Spring Boot API, and database changes
- Understand a requirement and turn it into working code with minimal hand-holding
- Debug production issues across frontend and backend
- Write clean, tested, reviewable code

Non-technical requirements

- Based in Bengaluru, or able to relocate immediately
- Willing to work 5 days a week from the office
- Can join within 15 days of offer acceptance
- Expected CTC within ₹16–24 LPA
- Transparent communication and an ownership mindset
