Operations Manager – Sustainable Hospitality Toroland Resort | Mankulam, Kerala, India We are building a sustainable hospitality brand with ambitions to grow across India and internationally. We are looking for an Operations Manager who can run a resort effectively while helping us develop a thoughtful, environmentally responsible approach to hospitality. This role suits someone who combines operational discipline with creativity, cares about the planet, and enjoys turning new ideas into practical improvements. Required Qualifications
- Experience managing hotel or resort operations and leading teams across departments.
- Ability to create, implement and improve operating procedures, service standards and staff training.
- Solid planning, budgeting, cost-control and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to responsible hospitality, including reducing waste and conserving water and energy.
- A hands-on, disciplined approach with clear ownership of tasks and results.
- Willingness to question existing practices, test ideas and lead teams through change.
- Strong communication and guest-service skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mankulam, Kerala. Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Tourism,



Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience with eco-resorts, boutique hotels, experiential stays or community-based tourism.
- Practical experience implementing sustainability initiatives and measuring their results.
- Experience creating nature
- and culture-based guest experiences with local communities.
- Pre-opening experience or experience building operating systems for a growing hospitality brand.
- Familiarity with property management systems, digital tools and operational reporting.
- Experience supporting multiple properties or adapting service standards across different locations.
