CNC Machine Operator

Location:
Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Experience:
1–5 Years Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile or relevant technical qualification Job Responsibilities
• Operate CNC machines such as CNC Turning and CNC Milling machines.
• Perform machine setup, tool changing and workpiece loading/unloading.
• Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
• Monitor machine operations and ensure smooth production.
• Check component dimensions using Vernier Calipers and Micrometers.
• Maintain product quality and follow production standards.
• Identify basic machine issues and report technical problems.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain cleanliness. Required Skills
• Basic knowledge of CNC machine operations.
• Hands-on experience with CNC Turning or Milling.
• Knowledge of CNC controllers such as Fanuc or Siemens is preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments.
• Basic knowledge of machine tools and manufacturing processes.
