About the Role
We're looking for a Manager – AI Search & SEO (AEO/GEO) who is passionate about the future of search and excited to experiment with how brands are discovered, cited and recommended by AI-powered platforms. This is a hands-on, high-impact role focused on growing TheSqua.re's visibility across LLMs. We're looking for someone who doesn't just understand AEO and GEO theoretically but has actively experimented with AI search optimisation, tested different approaches and measured their impact. You'll work closely with our SEO, Content, Product, Engineering, Digital PR and Performance Marketing teams to build and execute our global AI search strategy.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute AEO/GEO strategies to improve TheSqua.re's visibility across AI-powered search platforms.
• Identify opportunities to increase AI citations, brand mentions, recommendations and share of voice across priority international markets.
• Conduct hands-on experiments to understand which content formats, technical improvements and authority signals influence AI search visibility.




• Track how TheSqua.re and its competitors appear for searches related to serviced apartments, corporate housing, relocation and extended stays.
• Build AI visibility monitoring frameworks and dashboards using relevant tools and analytics platforms.
• Work with Content and SEO teams on entity optimisation, topical authority, structured content, internal linking and information architecture.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on schema markup, crawlability and technical SEO improvements.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen brand authority through digital PR, third-party citations, original research and proprietary data.
• Monitor AI search developments, test emerging optimisation techniques and rapidly adapt strategies based on results.
• Connect AI search visibility improvements with qualified traffic, enquiries, leads and revenue contribution. What We're Looking For
• 2-3 Years in AEO/GEO and 5–8+ years of experience in SEO, organic growth or related search disciplines.
• Practical, hands-on experience with AEO, GEO or AI search optimisation.
• Solid technical SEO fundamentals, including structured data, schema, crawlability and entity optimisation.
• Experience tracking AI search visibility, brand mentions, citations and competitor performance.
• Familiarity with platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews.




• Experience using SEO and AI visibility tools, along with GA4, Google Search Console, Semrush or Ahrefs.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate experiments into measurable outcomes.
• Experience with international SEO, large websites, hospitality, travel or e-commerce would be an advantage.
• Ability to independently execute ideas, collaborate across teams and move quickly from testing to implementation. The Mindset Matters We're particularly interested in someone who:
