Senior Correspondent / Senior Writer – Technology Voice&Data; | CyberMedia Group Voice&Data; is looking for a Senior Correspondent / Senior Writer – Technology to join its editorial team and contribute to its digital and print publications. We are seeking a journalist who can go beyond corporate announcements to identify important developments, ask critical questions, develop credible sources and produce original, well-researched stories. The ideal candidate will have a sound understanding of the technology industry, strong reporting and writing skills, and the curiosity to explore how emerging technologies are transforming businesses, industries and society. The position reports directly to the Editor.

Key Responsibilities
News Reporting and Story Development
• Identify, research and report significant developments across telecom, communication, connectivity, digital infrastructure, AI, networking, space technology, satellite communications, broadcasting and related sectors.
• Develop original stories through independent research, industry sources, interviews and analysis of technology, business and policy developments.
• Verify facts, assess industry claims and deliver accurate, balanced and timely reporting. Features, Analysis and Interviews
• Write compelling news reports, in-depth features, industry analyses, explainers and cover stories for digital and print editions.
• Interview CXOs, technology leaders, policymakers, researchers and industry experts to bring informed perspectives to stories.
• Translate complex technical subjects into clear, engaging and accessible journalism for a professional B2B audience.
• Multimedia Journalism
• Conduct video interviews, podcasts and other multimedia editorial formats.
• Work with the editorial and production teams to develop engaging digital storytelling formats.
• Industry Networking and Source Development




• Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, subject experts, policymakers and independent sources.
• Attend and report on industry conferences, technology launches, policy discussions and other relevant events. Digital Publishing and Audience Engagement
• Write search-friendly headlines and optimise stories for digital discoverability without compromising editorial quality.
• Publish and manage content using the publication's content management system (CMS).
• Use audience analytics and engagement insights to identify relevant topics and improve content reach.
• Promote published work through professional social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn and X. Editorial Collaboration
• Contribute original story ideas, participate in editorial planning and collaborate with colleagues across digital, print and multimedia platforms.
• Work independently, meet deadlines and maintain high standards of editorial accuracy, integrity and professionalism. Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication or a related discipline.
• At least 2–3 years of professional journalism experience, preferably covering technology, telecom, digital infrastructure or related industries.
• Strong reporting, research, interviewing, writing and storytelling skills.
• Demonstrated ability to identify newsworthy developments and produce original stories rather than rely solely on press releases.
• Understanding of the technology industry's major players, emerging trends,



business dynamics and policy setting.
• Ability to explain complex technical and business subjects clearly and accurately.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, with proficiency in British English.
• Familiarity with digital publishing, SEO, content management systems and social media.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven newsroom.
• Strong interpersonal skills, professional curiosity and the confidence to engage with senior industry leaders.
• Willingness to travel for interviews, industry events and conferences when required.
