Located in the Heavy Industrial Area of Hathkhoj, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, the company runs a refinery with an annual coal tar distillation capacity of approximately 128,000 tonnes. TCPL is ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 certified, reflecting its focus on quality, environmental responsibility, and occupational safety. The company manufactures coal tar binder pitch, specialty carbon black feedstock oils, and various distilled products that serve industries such as aluminium, carbon black, tyres, foundry & refractory, paints & coatings, printing inks, and chemical processing. TCPL combines state-of-the-art semi-automated reactor technology with a dedicated team of experienced professionals to deliver sustainable chemical solutions. Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll support. This role will prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and statutory filings, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.



The Senior Accountant will monitor budgeting and cash flow, assist in cost analysis related to manufacturing operations, and support audit activities with internal and external auditors. Collaboration with operations, procurement, and management teams to provide financial insights and improve processes is a key part of the position. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bhilai.

Key Responsibilities
& Requirements
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and general ledger accounting.
• Expertise in financial statement preparation and periodic account closing.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime, accounting software, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
• Hands-on experience in GST, GST reconciliation, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Experience in bank reconciliation, ledger reconciliation, and accounts finalization.
• Knowledge of auditing and coordination with internal and external auditors.
• Understanding of cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and MIS reporting.
• Ability to maintain accuracy, analyze financial data, and meet deadlines.
• Solid communication skills and coordination with cross-functional teams.
