Remote, anywhere in India Type: Full-time Reports to: the Founder / Managing Director
Experience:
2–3 years Background: finance or fintech preferred, not required Company Description Bugni Labs builds AI-native platforms for banks, insurers and other regulated enterprises. Our pitch in five words: modern velocity, enterprise-grade rigour. We work in three areas: Platform Engineering (moving core banking systems onto modern, event-driven architectures), Enterprise AI (agentic and reasoning systems that pass compliance), and Applied Innovation (prototypes that actually reach production). Our method, AI-Native Engineering, treats AI as a first-class participant across the build lifecycle, with human engineers owning judgment. Our work includes economic-crime screening platforms, customer screening modernisation, and a credit decisioning engine for a digital-first bank taken from blank page to production in four months. Organisations we've worked with include Lloyds Banking Group, NatWest, Siam Commercial Bank, Cynergy Bank, Kroo, Google Cloud, Publicis Groupe, Wipro and NTT DATA. We are small, senior and deliberate. The engineering is world-class. Now the world needs to hear about it. Why this role exists We have strong case studies, sharp perspectives on AI in financial services, and a team of practitioners with plenty to say. What we don't have is someone whose full-time job is getting that in front of the right people, consistently. You'll be that person. You'll sit next to the founder, turn deep engineering work into content that bank CTOs, heads of risk and fintech leaders actually read, and build the distribution engine that turns attention into conversations. This is a builder role, not a maintenance role: there is no playbook to inherit. What you'll own: Content and brand
• Own Bugni Labs' presence on LinkedIn: calendar, writing, publishing, community replies.
• Turn case studies, Insights articles and engineer conversations into posts, carousels, threads, short videos and newsletters.
• Run the newsletter and grow the subscriber list.
• Keep the voice consistent: clear, credible, zero hype. Our buyers are senior people in regulated industries.
Distribution and GTM
• Build a repeatable distribution system: repurposing, scheduling, employee advocacy, and partner amplification.
• Support pipeline: event and webinar promotion, outreach campaigns, sales collateral, one-pagers and pitch material.
• Research target accounts, competitors and market trends in banking, insurance and fintech; feed insights back to the founder.
• Track what works with a simple weekly dashboard: reach, engagement, followers, inbound leads, newsletter growth. Founder's office
• Act as the founder's right hand on GTM projects: launches, partnerships, PR opportunities, awards and speaking slots.
• Take ambiguous problems, figure out the plan, and ship it without needing to be managed. Who you are
• 2–3 years in marketing, content, growth, founder's office, consulting or a GTM role at a startup or agency.
• You write well. Clear, sharp, no fluff. You can explain a complex idea simply without dumbing it down.
• You've grown an account, a newsletter or a community before, and you can show the numbers.
• You're comfortable learning technical subjects fast. You don't need to code, but you'll happily sit with engineers until you understand what they built.
• High agency: you don't wait for instructions, you notice what's missing and fix it.
• You get stuff done. You'd rather ship a valuable thing today than a perfect thing next month.
• You use AI tools daily to move faster, and you know where they fall short.
• Strong ownership and honest communication. You flag risks early and say "I don't know" when you don't. Bonus points
• Background in finance, banking, fintech or financial journalism, or you simply follow the space closely.
• Experience with B2B or enterprise marketing,
where the buyer is a CXO and the sales cycle is long.
• Comfort on camera or with short-form video editing.
• Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn analytics, a scheduler, a newsletter platform, Canva or Figma, and a CRM.
• A public body of work: your own newsletter, blog, or LinkedIn presence. What success looks like First 90 days
• A content calendar running on LinkedIn, with at least 3 posts a week shipping consistently.
• Founder's LinkedIn active and growing, with a clear voice and themes.

• Measurable growth in followers, engagement and newsletter subscribers.

• Direct access to the founder and a front-row seat to how an enterprise AI company is built and sold.
• Real ownership: your work is the brand, and you'll see its impact on pipeline.
• A senior team of engineers and architects working with some of the UK's largest banks.
• Fully remote, with high autonomy and low bureaucracy.
• A fast learning curve across AI, banking technology, B2B sales and GTM strategy.
• Competitive pay.
