Som Imaging Informatics Pvt. Ltd. (Somnetics) is looking for an experienced IBM i Systems Administrator / AS400 Infrastructure Engineer to manage enterprise IBM i infrastructure, High Availability and Disaster Recovery environments.

Experience:
7–10 Years Role: L3 IBM i Systems Administration / AS400 Infrastructure Engineer Required Technical Skills
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience as an IBM i Systems Administrator / Infrastructure Engineer in an enterprise environment.
• Expert-level knowledge of IBM i OS architecture, particularly v7.4 and v7.5.
• Robust technical expertise in IBM Power Systems hardware, HMC, ASMI and VIOS.
• Proven experience configuring, upgrading and troubleshooting Precisely MIMIX.
• Proficiency in native IBM i commands, CL scripting and diagnostic commands.

Key Responsibilities
• Administer and manage IBM i operating systems,



specifically versions 7.4 and 7.5.
• Manage IBM Power Systems hardware, HMC, ASMI and VIOS.
• Configure, upgrade and troubleshoot Precisely MIMIX replication engines.
• Handle complex journaling issues, replication conflicts and network routing problems.
• Execute infrastructure modifications, disk layout adjustments and system value configurations.
• Support application teams as an infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Coordinate infrastructure changes, cutovers and collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure teams.
• Provide L3-level technical support and participate in on-call support outside regular

working hours
