Role Description This is a full time, on-site role for a Civil 3D Modeller – Utility/Roads based in Sivakasi. The role involves developing detailed 3D civil models for utilities and road networks using Civil 3D and related tools, ensuring accuracy, coordination, and compliance with project standards. The modeller will interpret engineering drawings and specifications, prepare alignments, profiles, corridors, and utility layouts, and integrate models with broader BIM workflows. Daily tasks include collaborating with civil and MEP engineers, updating models based on design changes,



resolving clashes, and preparing model-based outputs such as drawings, sections, and quantities. The role also requires maintaining organized project files, adhering to quality and safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement of modeling processes. Qualifications
• Strong 3D design and modeling skills, including experience as a modeler with Civil 3D or equivalent civil engineering design tools.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling workflows; familiarity with tools such as Blender or similar software is an advantage.
• Understanding of lighting and visualization principles for presenting civil and utility/roads models clearly and effectively.
• Experience in utility and road design, including alignments, profiles, corridors, drainage, and underground services.
• Knowledge of BIM standards and practices, and ability to coordinate civil models with MEP and structural disciplines.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience in civil CAD/BIM modeling.
• Attention to detail, ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications, and strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary, on-site project environment.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards for infrastructure and utility projects is beneficial.
