Role Description The Faculty member in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering will teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, deliver lectures, conduct tutorials and lab sessions, and guide student projects and seminars. Responsibilities include designing and updating course materials, contributing to curriculum development, and aligning content with current industry and research trends. The role involves mentoring students, assessing performance through examinations and assignments, and maintaining accurate academic records. Faculty are expected to engage in research, publications,



and academic outreach, participate in departmental and institutional committees, and support accreditation and quality assurance activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kottayam, requiring regular presence on campus for classes, meetings, and institutional events. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in core Computer Science concepts and related disciplines.
• Proficiency in Programming and practical software development for teaching and project supervision.
• Knowledge of Information Technology domains relevant to modern computing environments.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity principles and practices applicable to curriculum and research.
• Experience in Curriculum Development and academic planning aligned with university and accreditation requirements.
• Postgraduate degree (M.
E./M.
Tech/M.
S.) in Computer Science and Engineering or closely related field; Ph.
D. preferred.
• Prior teaching or academic experience, with the ability to use modern pedagogical and educational technologies.
• Evidence of research activity, publications, or industry collaboration in Computer Science or allied areas.
• Effective communication, classroom management, and mentoring skills, with a commitment to inclusive and ethical academic practices.
