Job Responsibilities
• Design and develop automotive BIW components using UG NX (Siemens NX).
• Work on BIW structures such as:
• Upper Body
• Under Body
• BIW Closures
• Side Body
• Floor Panel
• Roof Panel
• A-Pillar, B-Pillar and C-Pillar
• Door, Hood and Tailgate
• Perform 3D modelling, part modelling, assembly design and 2D drawings.
• Work on sheet metal component design and development.
• Perform design validation, packaging and clearance checks.
• Ensure manufacturability and feasibility of BIW components.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for product development. Mandatory Skills
• Solid experience in UG NX / Siemens NX.
• Automotive BIW design experience.
• Sheet Metal Design.
• 3D Modelling and Assembly Design.
• GD&T; and Engineering Drawings.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and tooling feasibility.
