Role Description This full-time, on-site Pediatrician role is based at Apollo Hospitals in Raurkela. The Pediatrician will provide comprehensive primary and specialty care to infants, children, and adolescents, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, developmental assessments, and management of acute and chronic conditions. Daily responsibilities include examining patients, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and providing guidance on nutrition, growth, and preventive care. The role involves close collaboration with neonatology teams, other physicians, nurses,



and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care, particularly for newborns and high-risk pediatric patients. The Pediatrician will also participate in clinical documentation, quality improvement initiatives, hospital protocols, and family education to support protected, compassionate, and timely care. Qualifications
• Strong clinical foundation in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage common pediatric and general medical conditions.
• Specialized expertise in Pediatrics, including growth and development, immunization schedules, and pediatric emergency care.
• Experience or training in Neonatology, including care of newborns, premature infants, and high-risk neonatal conditions.
• Demonstrated ability in Working with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated, patient-centered care.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (MD / DNB or equivalent).
• Valid medical license/registration as required by Indian regulatory authorities and eligibility to practice in the region.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to counsel families with empathy and clarity.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, and adherence to hospital quality and safety standards.
