Job Purpose/ Summary To ensure safe and compliant radiographic testing operations at the Pipe Bending & Coating Division by implementing radiological safety procedures, monitoring radiation exposure and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements. The role is responsible for radiation protection, personnel safety, NDT coordination, radiological monitoring, safety documentation and maintaining a safe working workplace during industrial radiography activities.

Job Description
Manage radiological safety activities associated with industrial radiographic testing (RT. at the Pipe Bending & Coating Division.
Ensure compliance with applicable AERB requirements, approved radiation safety procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Monitor radiography activities and ensure implementation of radiation protection measures, controlled areas, warning signs and access restrictions.
Ensure availability and proper use of radiation survey meters, personal dosimeters, alarming devices and other radiation safety equipment, as applicable.
Monitor radiation exposure records and ensure personnel follow prescribed safety practices during radiographic testing.
Coordinate with NDT personnel, Production, Quality and EHS teams to plan radiography activities safely without compromising operational requirements.
Maintain radiological safety records, radiation survey reports, personnel exposure records and statutory documentation.
Support radiation safety inspections, audits, emergency preparedness and incident reporting as per applicable procedures.
Ensure that radiography personnel are appropriately qualified, authorized and trained for their assigned activities.
