Role Description The Visa Officer role at Medway Educational Consultants is a full-time, on-site position based in Tilak Nagar. The Visa Officer will manage end-to-end visa application processes for students, including document collection, verification, and preparation of files in line with immigration requirements and institutional guidelines. This role involves advising students and families on visa regulations, timelines, and procedures, and clearly explaining immigration policies in a client-friendly manner. The Visa Officer will coordinate with internal counselors and external stakeholders, track application statuses,



and ensure timely follow-up and resolution of visa-related issues. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate records, handling inquiries in person and via phone or email, and providing professional, courteous support to deliver a smooth visa experience for applicants. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of visas and immigration issues, including documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills for advising students and liaising with families and external stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess proven customer service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, clarity, and problem resolution.
• Candidates should possess the ability to interpret and apply changing immigration guidelines accurately and ethically.
• Relevant experience in visa processing, immigration consulting, or overseas education counseling is highly beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously are required.
• Comfort with basic office software and documentation tools; familiarity with CRM or case management systems is an advantage.
• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in administration, law, international relations, or related fields, is desirable.
