About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on HR Manager to lead HR operations, employee engagement, performance management, and statutory compliance. You will work closely with leadership and employees to strengthen processes, clarify responsibilities, and build a fair, accountable workplace.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee documentation, attendance, leave, HRMS records, and exits.
• Own EPF, ESIC, and payroll compliance, including enrollment, contribution verification, filings, reconciliations, portal updates, and employee support.
• Coordinate with Finance on payroll inputs, salary structures, deductions, TDS, and full-and-final settlements.
• Manage applicable employment compliance, statutory records, POSH requirements, audits, inspections, and regulatory updates.
• Meet with employees and managers to identify workload concerns, unclear ownership, communication gaps, and training needs.
• Improve HR policies, workflows, onboarding, employee engagement, recognition, and grievance resolution.
• Lead goal setting, performance reviews, probation assessments,



and performance improvement processes.
• Guide managers on feedback, conflict resolution, documentation, and disciplinary matters.
• Lead the HR team, coordinate external providers, and report key HR and compliance metrics to leadership. Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of HR experience, with solid ownership of HR operations and statutory compliance.
• Proven hands-on experience with EPF, ESIC, payroll compliance, statutory filings, and audits.
• Working knowledge of Indian employment requirements and applicable state obligations.
• Strong employee relations, communication, documentation, Excel, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with HRMS and payroll systems; Zoho People and Zoho Payroll preferred.
• Experience in IT services, staffing, startups, or growing organizations preferred.  We seek someone who takes ownership, resolves issues fairly, and turns improvements into consistent results.
