Company Description Zuber & Partners is a technology-native law firm based in HITEC City, Hyderabad, advising global capability centres (GCCs), enterprises, international businesses and founders. The firm’s core practice spans GCC legal architecture, cybersecurity law, DPDP and data protection compliance, corporate and commercial transactions, regulatory matters, employment, and commercial litigation and arbitration. Led by a managing partner with over twenty years in cybersecurity and technology leadership, the firm brings a practical understanding of how technology businesses operate to every mandate, and aligns legal strategy with each client’s commercial objectives. Role Description This is a hybrid role based in Hyderabad for the position of Associate Legal Counsel in the firm’s Corporate & Technology practice. The role includes client secondment, working 2 to 3 days a week at client offices in Hyderabad and 2 days with the firm. The Associate Legal Counsel will:
• advise on employment and workplace matters;
• lead and support ethics and compliance programmes;
• draft,



review and negotiate commercial and vendor contracts with global counterparties;
• handle day-to-day legal matters and advise business leadership; and
• work with international stakeholders, including US-based legal teams. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.
B.) and enrolment as an advocate; LL.
M. is an advantage
• 5 to 8 years’ post-qualification experience, in-house, with a GCC, or at a law firm
• Strong grounding in employment law, compliance and commercial contracts
• Proven contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Experience in technology or IT-related law is a plus
• Sound judgement and the ability to give explicit, practical advice to non-lawyers
• Excellent communication skills and confidence with senior leadership
• Able to join at short notice
