Sharp Brains is seeking experienced Senior Network & Security Operations Engineers with strong hands-on expertise in Fortinet technologies to support enterprise network and security operations. The successful candidates will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting and implementing changes across enterprise firewall and network security environments. This role requires strong technical expertise, independent problem-solving capabilities and the ability to work directly with customers in a managed services environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Configure, administer and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate firewalls in enterprise environments.
• Manage and monitor Fortinet security infrastructure using FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
• Implement and maintain firewall policies, NAT, routing, VPN and SD-WAN configurations.
• Perform complex firewall changes, including VDOM creation and management, Explicit Proxy configuration and security policy modifications.
• Assess, plan and implement network and security changes, ensuring appropriate pre-change and post-change validation.
• Perform firmware upgrades, security patching, vulnerability remediation and firewall hardening.
• Investigate and resolve complex network and security incidents.
• Work with customers and internal technical teams to communicate technical issues, changes and resolutions.
• Maintain operational standards and ensure service quality across supported environments.



Required Skills & Experience
• 7–10 years of professional experience in Network and Security Operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
• Practical experience with FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking, including routing, NAT, VPN, security policies and SD-WAN.
• Experience implementing complex firewall and network security changes in production environments.
• Knowledge of VDOMs, Explicit Proxy, firmware management and security patching.
• Experience working in customer-facing technical support or managed services environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and incident-resolution skills.
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with distributed teams across different time zones. Preferred Certifications
• Fortinet Certified Skilled (FCP) – Network Security.
• Fortinet Certified Solution Specialist (FCSS) – Network Security.
• Fortinet NSE 4, NSE 5 or NSE 7.
• Other relevant network security certifications will also be considered. Engagement Details
