Role Description The Sales Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Varanasi, responsible for driving sales of solar solutions by combining technical expertise with customer-focused service. Day-to-day tasks include understanding client requirements, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and presenting suitable solar systems that meet performance and budget expectations. The role involves conducting site visits, coordinating with the engineering and installation teams, and providing pre
- and post-sales technical support. The Sales Engineer will manage leads, maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers, support contract negotiations,



and ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution. Regular reporting on sales activities, market insights, and competitor offerings will be part of the responsibilities. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to interpret customer needs and recommend appropriate solar solutions.
• Candidates should possess solid Sales capabilities, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, and closing deals in a technical product environment.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to explain technical concepts clearly and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Relevant experience in solar, electrical, or renewable energy sectors is highly beneficial, along with basic knowledge of PV system components and design.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in engineering (electrical, electronics, or related field) or a comparable technical qualification is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Varanasi, travel for client visits, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Solid problem-solving skills, proficiency with standard office and CRM tools, and a results-oriented, ethical approach to sales.
