Role Description The Assistant Team Leader is a full-time, in office role based at Delhivery’s Gwalior location. This role supports daily operations on the floor, including supervising loading and unloading activities, monitoring parcel flow, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating shift schedules, guiding associates, resolving process bottlenecks, and maintaining accurate documentation for inbound and outbound shipments. The Assistant Team Leader also collaborates with senior supervisors to meet performance targets, supports implementation of process improvements,



and communicates operational updates clearly to team members and stakeholders. Qualifications
• Operational and process management skills, including basic knowledge of logistics workflows, inventory handling, and warehouse or hub operations.
• Team coordination and people management skills, with the ability to supervise staff, allocate tasks, and support performance and engagement on the floor.
• Communication and reporting skills, including clear verbal communication, basic written documentation, and the ability to escalate issues appropriately.
• Comfort with using technology for operations, such as handheld devices, tracking systems, dashboards, and basic MS Office tools.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
• Prior experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or related operational roles is preferred.
• Minimum educational qualification: higher secondary or diploma; a graduate degree in logistics, supply chain, or a related field is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on-site in Gwalior and flexibly across shifts, weekends, and peak seasons as required.
