Incubation Manager Department: UPES DST-iTBI Position: Incubation Manager Employment Type: Full-Time

Location:
UPES, Dehradun Educational Qualification Full-time postgraduate degree in Science, Engineering, Management, or MBA from a recognised institution. Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in incubation, entrepreneurship development, startup support, project management, government-funded programmes, or ecosystem building. Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the UPES DST-iTBI incubation centre and ensure the smooth implementation of its programmes and initiatives.
• Design, develop, and implement new incubation and entrepreneurship-support initiatives.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage startup cohorts, including applications, screening, onboarding, mentoring, progress tracking, reviews, and programme closure.
• Support startups in developing business strategies, validating ideas, building prototypes, accessing markets, and raising funds.
• Provide regular mentoring and handholding support to incubated startups and entrepreneurs.
• Develop a solid understanding of government grants,



funding schemes, startup policies, and calls for proposals relevant to incubators and startups.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of all programme activities, startups, beneficiaries, mentors, partners, financial transactions, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with government departments (DST), funding agencies, university authorities, industry partners, investors, mentors, and other stakeholders.
• Support compliance, audit, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting requirements associated with DST-iTBI .
• Build and manage networks of entrepreneurs, mentors, investors, corporates, academic institutions, government bodies, and ecosystem partners.
• Organise workshops, boot camps, mentoring sessions, networking meetings, investor interactions, demo days, and collaboration events.
• Track the performance and progress of incubated startups using appropriate milestones, metrics, and reporting frameworks.
• Contribute to strengthening the brand visibility and institutional positioning of UPES DST-iTBI.
