What This Role Requires: We are looking for an experienced Data Architect to provide technical leadership in defining data strategy, designing, developing, and evolving enterprise data architecture and analytics solutions. The Data Architect will work closely with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, Data Engineers, BI Developers, Solution Architects, and technology teams to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, governed, and maintainable data solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong experience across data strategy, data architecture, data modeling, semantic layer design, cloud data platforms, data integration, data governance, and business intelligence, with the ability to work across both strategic and implementation initiatives to operationalize data products for enterprise consumption.

Skills:
• 10+ years of experience across data architecture, data engineering, semantic model design, analytics, and/or business intelligence roles.




• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions for biopharma/pharmaceutical clients.
• Robust communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to provide both strategic architectural direction and practical technical guidance to implementation teams.
• Hands-on experience with AWS data and analytics services, particularly Amazon S3, AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, and related AWS services.
• Experience with AWS data platform migration or modernization initiatives.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise semantic layers/models and reusable data products.
• Experience operationalizing data products across their lifecycle, from design and development through production deployment, governance, monitoring, and consumption.
• Experience designing and implementing data lakes, lakehouses, and/or data fabric architectures.
• Experience establishing enterprise data governance, data cataloguing, lineage, metadata, and data quality capabilities.
• Experience working with clinical, R&D;, laboratory, or regulatory data in Life Sciences environments.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements such as FDA, EMA, and GxP. Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
