Job Title: Workato Architect

Experience:
10+ Years (5+ Years in Workato) Employment Type: Full-Time Locations: Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Noida, Pune Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Workato Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise integration and automation solutions using the Workato platform. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in cloud integration, API management, enterprise architecture, and business process automation. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and architect enterprise-grade integration solutions using the Workato platform.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of Workato recipes, workflows, and reusable integration components.
• Define integration architecture, best practices, governance, and development standards.
• Develop scalable integrations using REST, SOAP, GraphQL, Webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
• Design and implement API-led connectivity patterns across enterprise applications.
• Integrate cloud and on-premises applications using Workato Agent and Hybrid Connectivity.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Build reusable connectors, custom SDK connectors, and API integrations where required.
• Implement data transformation, orchestration, validation, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Establish monitoring, logging, alerting,



and troubleshooting processes for integrations.
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, authentication, and authorization standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, API Keys).
• Optimize integration performance and ensure high availability and scalability.
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and mentor development teams.
• Support production deployments, release management, and incident resolution.
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and integration specifications.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for Workato deployments.
• Evaluate recent Workato capabilities and recommend platform improvements. Required Skills
• 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in Workato.
• Strong expertise in designing enterprise integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience developing complex Workato recipes and custom connectors.
• Experience with Workato SDK and Connector Builder.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, GraphQL, Webhooks, JSON, XML, and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Experience integrating SaaS applications such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics, Slack, Jira, and AWS services.




• Strong understanding of API Management and Integration Architecture.
• Experience with event-driven integrations and messaging platforms such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or other CI/CD tools.
• Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML, SSL/TLS, and enterprise security standards.
• Experience implementing logging, monitoring, and exception handling frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Workato Automation Pro Certification or Workato Automation Architect Certification.
• Experience with iPaaS platforms such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Informatica Cloud, or SnapLogic.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns (EIP).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with BPM, RPA, and workflow automation.
• Understanding of microservices and container-based architectures (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Nice to Have
• Experience with AI-powered workflow automation.
• Exposure to Generative AI integrations using OpenAI or Azure OpenAI APIs.
• Experience integrating ERP, CRM, HCM, and eCommerce platforms.
• Experience with enterprise-scale digital transformation projects.
