Job Title-SAP S/4HANA Project Manager – Greenfield Implementation

- 11:00PM Locations: Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Noida, Hyderabad Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager with expertise in Greenfield implementation and transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using the SAP Activate Methodology. The Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all phases of the migration project, from planning and execution to delivery, ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Project Planning and Strategy
• Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan for the migration from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA using Greenfield implementation.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements in alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Establish project governance structure, roles/responsibilities, and communication protocols to ensure effective project management.
• Team Leadership and Management
• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, including SAP consultants, technical experts, and business stakeholders.
• Provide clear direction, guidance,



and support to team members to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing.
• Greenfield Data Loads
• Oversee all aspects of the migration process, including data extraction, transformation, and loading using DS/ETL.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the migration process.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to minimize downtime and disruptions during migration.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
• Act as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT management, and project sponsors.
• Provide regular updates, progress reports, and presentations to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and risks.
• Proactively address stakeholder concerns and expectations, ensuring alignment and buy-in throughout the migration process.
• Quality Assurance and Risk Management
• Implement quality assurance processes and controls to ensure the successful delivery of the migration project within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
• Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies early in the project lifecycle and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of project activities to monitor progress and address any deviations from the project plan.
• Change Management and Training
• Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate user adoption of SAP S/4HANA and minimize resistance to change.
• Plan and coordinate training programs and knowledge transfer sessions to educate end-users on the new system and processes.




• Provide ongoing support and assistance to end-users during the transition period to ensure a smooth migration experience. Qualifications Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on:
• SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations
• Brownfield implementations
• Selective Data Transfer/Bluefield implementations
• SAP migrations
• Proven experience leading SAP S/4HANA migration projects, particularly using Greenfield implementation.
• Experience leading onshore and offshore SAP functional and technical teams.
• Robust understanding of SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA modules, architecture, and migration tools. Certifications
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
• SAP Activate Methodology Certification is a plus. Skills & Competencies

• Experience with change management, stakeholder engagement, and risk management methodologies.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to anticipate challenges and develop proactive solutions.
• Positive attitude and proactive nature to work with cross-teams.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Self-motivated with strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
