This role oversees day-to-day hotel operations, including guest services, food and beverage functions, housekeeping, front office, and back-of-house activities. The General Manager monitors financial performance, manages budgets, controls costs, and ensures compliance with company policies and local regulations. Responsibilities include leading and developing staff, setting performance standards, and fostering a culture of service excellence and safety. The role also involves managing vendor relationships, driving sales and marketing initiatives, addressing guest feedback, and implementing continuous improvement across all departments. Qualifications
• Prior experience of having been GM of a hotel is mandatory
• Strong leadership and people management skills, including team supervision, coaching, and performance management.




• Operational expertise in hotel and restaurant management, covering guest services, food and beverage operations, and facility upkeep.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and basic accounting principles.
• Customer service and communication skills, with the ability to handle guest concerns and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, health and safety regulations, and quality assurance practices.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast-paced setting, maintaining attention to detail and high service standards.
• Proficiency with common office and hospitality management software; comfort with using reports and data for decision-making.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
• Previous experience in a senior management role within hotels, restaurants, or broader hospitality operations, preferably in an urban market.
