The Fabric & Power BI Developer designs, builds, and supports the analytical and reporting layer for the firm’s Dayshape Resource Management implementation on Microsoft Fabric. Working with the Technical Integration Lead, Resource Management, Finance, and the SAP and Workday teams, the developer lands Dayshape data in OneLake through Fabric data pipelines, models it alongside SAP S/4HANA, Workday, and timesheet data, and delivers certified, secure Power BI reports that give Resource Management and leadership a trusted view of capacity, scheduling, utilization, and actuals across Assurance, Advisory, and Tax. Responsibilities
• Design and build Microsoft Fabric data pipelines, lakehouses/warehouses, and notebooks to ingest Dayshape data (via extracts or APIs) into OneLake, with scheduling, incremental loads, error handling, and monitoring.
• Develop a deep working understanding of the Dayshape Resource Management data model, including Resources, Units (Geographical and Functional), Grades, Job Groups (Clients, Projects, Work Packages), Unavailability, scheduled and actual hours, Traits and Resource Traits (Skills, Languages, Certifications), and Users, and translate it into analytics-ready models.
• Build conformed dimensional and semantic models that combine Dayshape with SAP S/4HANA (clients, projects, work packages, actuals, bill and cost rates), Workday (employees, grades, organizations, leave), Replicon timesheet data flowing through SAP CPI, and LC Vista certification data.
• Develop and publish Power BI reports and dashboards for Resource Managers, Engagement leaders, and Finance, covering capacity and availability, scheduled vs. actual hours, utilization, staffing coverage, certification and skills views, and Dayshape-to-SAP reconciliation.
• Create certified, reusable Power BI semantic models with well-defined measures (DAX), governed definitions (for example, scheduled hours terminology), and performance tuning (aggregations, incremental refresh, Direct Lake or Import as appropriate).
• Implement row-level and object-level security so that report access aligns with Dayshape roles and permissions, including restricted access to audit-trail and sensitive resource data.
• Build data quality and reconciliation reports to validate Dayshape loads and integrations (record counts, rate and hours tie-outs, orphaned records) and support data migration, UAT, and cutover testing.

• Coordinate with the integration team on SAP CPI / BTP interfaces and with the SAP Datasphere/SAC team to ensure consistent data definitions and avoid duplicate reporting logic across platforms.
• Manage Fabric workspace deployment using deployment pipelines and source control across Dev, QA/Test, and Production, following the firm’s release and change-management standards.
• Maintain documentation (data lineage, model definitions, report catalogs, refresh schedules) to support internal and external audit requests.
• Translate business reporting requirements into technical specifications, run design reviews with business owners, and support users through training and hypercare.
• Support rollout of Dayshape reporting from Assurance to Advisory and Tax, building reusable patterns that scale across service lines. Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in BI and data engineering, including at least 2 years of hands-on work with Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory pipelines, Lakehouse/Warehouse, Dataflows Gen2, notebooks) or equivalent Azure data platform services.
• Advanced Power BI skills, including data modeling (star schema), DAX, Power Query, report design, row-level security, and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL skills and working knowledge of PySpark or Python for data transformation.
• Working knowledge of resource management, scheduling, or professional services automation (PSA) data (e.g., Dayshape, Profinda, Certinia, or comparable), including utilization, capacity, and timesheet concepts.
• Experience integrating data from SAP and HR/workforce systems (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, Workday) into an enterprise data platform.
• Experience with Fabric deployment pipelines, Git integration, and CI/CD practices for BI assets.
• Understanding of data security, access control, and governance in a professional services or regulated environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with both technical teams and business leaders.
