We Are Hiring | IT System Administrator – Microsoft 365 & SOC 2 Numetix is looking for an experienced IT System Administrator to manage our IT infrastructure, Microsoft environment, information security, and day-to-day IT operations. The role will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining SOC 2 controls, supporting compliance audits, and ensuring our IT systems remain secure, reliable, and well-managed.

Key Responsibilities
1. SOC 2 Implementation & Compliance
• Manage SOC 2 Type I and Type II implementation and ongoing compliance activities.
• Implement and maintain IT general controls (ITGCs), security policies, and access management procedures.
• Manage audit documentation, evidence collection, periodic access reviews, and compliance reporting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Maintain incident management, change management, backup, and disaster recovery procedures. 2. Microsoft 365 Administration
• Manage Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, including user accounts, MFA, Conditional Access, and access permissions.
• Manage Microsoft Intune, device enrolment, endpoint security, and compliance policies.
• Oversee Microsoft licensing, user provisioning, and deprovisioning. 3. IT Infrastructure & Network Management
• Manage servers, operating systems, networks, firewalls, VPNs, and other IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, availability, security, and network connectivity.
• Manage security patches, endpoint protection, backups, and vulnerability remediation.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, hardware, software,



and network issues. 4. IT Operations & User Support
• Manage employee IT onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain IT asset registers, hardware inventory, and software subscriptions.
• Provide technical support and ensure timely resolution of IT issues.
• Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers.
• Maintain IT documentation, standard operating procedures, and internal IT policies. Required Experience & Eligibility Criteria
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience implementing and managing SOC 2 Type I and Type II compliance, including direct involvement in successful audits, evidence management, and coordination with external auditors. Candidates without practical SOC 2 implementation experience should not apply.
• 4–7 years of experience in IT system administration and infrastructure management.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Windows environments.
• Experience managing network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint security.
• Good understanding of IT security controls, access management, and audit requirements.
• Ability to manage IT operations independently and take ownership of issues through resolution.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL, or information security certifications would be an advantage.
