With data, we assist and work with Finance, Operations, Credit Risk, Product and Senior Management.Role DescriptionWe are looking for ambitious and curious people who can help us understand our data better, contribute to facilitating the discussions between engineering and the data stakeholders and have an impact on the business by telling stories around the insights they generate.You will be an integral part of the newly formed business intelligence team, paying a hands-on role, building and developing the analytics and insights capabilities of the Bank.Principal AccountabilitiesBuild and optimise solutions on GCP (BigQuery) and in Python, automating manual processes and choosing the best way to implement each solution.Get to the root of problem statements by asking the right questions, then decide whether the need of the hour is a quick fix or a properly designed solution.Generate your own work by joining wider business meetings, building business understanding and spotting where data can add value.Understand the business needs first,



then build dashboards on BI tools (preferably Looker) and reports that drive decisions.Know where AI adds real value and apply it to build smarter solutions in line with Allica’s policies.Work with Data Engineering/Product to resolve data quality and lineage issues and maintain data standards and documentation.Influence stakeholders with explicit insight and share knowledge within and outside the team.
