Company Description Superfan.ng is an edtech learning platform focused on African languages and cultural knowledge. The product is a gamified, quiz-first app that explores African proverbs, traditions, rites of passage, festivals, folklore, and customs. Designed for Africans and the global diaspora, Superfan.ng turns cultural learning into an engaging and interactive experience. The team is committed to preserving and celebrating African heritage while building accessible, modern digital learning tools. Role Description This is a full-time, remote UX Writer role. The UX Writer will craft clear, intuitive, and culturally aware in-app copy across flows, screens, microcopy, tooltips, and notifications. Day-to-day work includes collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams to define content requirements, writing and iterating on user interface text, and ensuring consistency in tone and terminology. The UX Writer will participate in UX research activities, translate insights into content improvements, and help shape content guidelines and style standards. The role also involves contributing to product documentation, aligning content with learning objectives,



and supporting experiments and A/B tests to improve user engagement and understanding. Qualifications
• Strong User Experience Writing skills, with the ability to create explicit, concise, and user-centered interface copy.
• Experience with UX Research, including interpreting user feedback and research findings to inform content decisions.
• Background in Content Strategy and Writing, with the ability to structure information and maintain a consistent voice.
• Technical Writing capabilities for product documentation, help content, and in-app guidance.
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail in grammar, tone, and clarity.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
• Familiarity with or strong interest in African languages, cultures, and diaspora communities.
• Experience working on digital products or edtech platforms is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Linguistics, Design, Journalism) or equivalent practical experience.
