About the Role
As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the delivery of high-quality, robust, and scalable web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, drive quality across the SDLC, and help prevent defects with early detection strategies. Your role is critical in shaping a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization. What you will be doing
• Lead quality strategy across all stages of the SDLC — from requirement analysis to production release and post-release validation.
• Design scalable, maintainable, and risk-based test strategies aligned with business and product goals.
• Develop and maintain robust automated test frameworks for Web and API applications using Playwright and Karate.
• Own end-to-end quality for features, including functional, integration, regression, performance, and security validation.
• Define and implement CI/CD quality gates and integrate automated suites into pipelines.
• Mentor junior QEs and drive best practices in test design, automation, and defect management.
• Drive root cause analysis for production issues and implement preventive quality measures.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and UX teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Establish and track quality metrics (Defect Leakage, Automation Coverage etc.) and present insights to stakeholders.




• Continuously improve testing frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance speed, reliability, and scalability. What We’re Looking For

Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Experience:
• 5–7 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, including strong automation expertise. Skills, Qualifications & Ability:
• Solid hands-on experience in UI automation, API testing, performance testing, and quality engineering.
• Expertise in building and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.
• Proficiency with Playwright, Karate, JMeter, Postman, and similar testing tools.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience with BDD frameworks and best practices.
• Hands-on experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
• Experience working in Agile environments and cloud-based testing.
• Understanding of AI concepts, AI-powered applications, AI testing, evaluation methodologies, and RAG fundamentals.
• Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with SaaS or B2B products is an added advantage.
