Assistant Purchase Manager (Nutraceutical/ Pharma)

Job Roles:

- Vendor development and supplier evaluation.
- Source and evaluate suppliers for cost-effectiveness and reliability.
- Handle multiple vendors within tight timelines.
- Must coordinate with production, designers and e-commerce departments.
- Should ensure timely material procurement as per production schedules.
- Familiar with FSSAI, GMP and quality compliance standards.
- Should ensure timely procurement and printing of packaging material.
- Good understanding of raw materials, excipients, and packaging materials used in nutraceutical manufacturing.
- Skills Required:

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Valuable knowledge of purchase procedures, purchase order (PO) creation, and documentation.
- Experience in working with ERP/Tally systems.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and report preparation.
- Strong follow-up and coordination skills.

Required Experience:

5 to 7 yrs. in Nutraceutical, Herbal or Pharma industry (in purchase or procurement department)
