Role & responsibilities

1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper inventory control.

2. Material Receiving: Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and quality, and check them against purchase orders and invoices.

3. Material Issuance: Issue materials to departments as per approved requisitions and maintain proper records.

4. Stock Monitoring: Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and ensure timely replenishment of materials.

5. Stock Verification: Conduct regular physical stock audits and reconcile physical stock with system records.

6. Documentation: Maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material issue slips, stock registers, and other inventory documents.

7. Warehouse Management: Ensure proper storage, labeling, identification, and arrangement of materials.

8. MIS & Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports and submit inventory updates to management.

9. Coordination: Coordinate with purchase, production, accounts, and other departments for material requirements and availability.

10. Safety & Housekeeping: Maintain store cleanliness, follow safety procedures, and ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
