Executive / Assistant Manager Demand Planning & Inventory Management

Job Location: Patparganj, Delhi

Demand Planning & Forecasting

- Prepare category-wise and store-wise demand forecasts based on historical sales, seasonal trends and business requirements.
- Analyse sales trends and forecast accuracy to improve inventory planning.
- Coordinate with the merchandising and retail teams for seasonal launches and product requirements.

Inventory Allocation & Replenishment

- Plan and execute stock allocation across retail stores based on sales performance and inventory requirements.
- Prepare Minimum Base Quantity (MBQ) and replenishment plans.
- Monitor stock availability and ensure timely replenishment from warehouses.
- Coordinate with warehouse and supply chain teams for stock movement and GRN tracking.

Inventory Management

- Monitor Days of Inventory (DOH), Days of Supply and stock-to-sales ratios.
- Identify excess, slow-moving and ageing inventory.
- Plan inter-store stock transfers to improve product availability and sell-through.
- Recommend markdowns and promotional activities for ageing inventory.





Sales & Stock Analysis

- Analyse category-wise and store-wise sales, stock movement and sell-through.
- Monitor store fill rates and identify stock-out and overstock situations.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports and management dashboards.
- Present inventory and sales performance reports to management.

Coordination & Reporting

- Coordinate with Retail Operations, Merchandising, Warehouse and Finance teams.
- Ensure timely execution of allocation and replenishment plans.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and planning trackers.
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory productivity and operational efficiency.
