Role Overview:

The IPQC Executive will be responsible for monitoring quality at various stages of production, ensuring adherence to approved recipes, SOPs, food safety standards, and product specifications. The role will work closely with production, kitchen, and QA/QC teams to identify deviations, prevent quality issues, and maintain consistency in finished products.

Key Responsibilities

In-Process Quality Monitoring

- Conduct quality checks at critical stages of food production, including ingredient preparation, mixing, baking, cooling, assembly, decoration, and packing.
- Verify product parameters against approved specifications, recipes, and quality standards.
- Monitor parameters such as weight, dimensions, appearance, texture, temperature, and product consistency, as applicable.
- Ensure process checks are conducted at defined frequencies and documented accurately.
- Identify deviations and immediately communicate them to the production team for corrective action.

Food Safety & Hygiene

- Monitor personal hygiene, sanitation, and housekeeping practices across production areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety practices, GMP, GHP, and HACCP-based controls.
- Verify cleaning and sanitation activities, equipment hygiene, and line clearance.
- Monitor temperature controls and handling practices for perishable ingredients and finished products.
- Report any food safety risks or non-conformities immediately.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain IPQC check sheets, production quality records, temperature logs, and non-conformance reports.
- Ensure traceability of batches, ingredients, and finished products.
- Document quality deviations, corrective actions, and follow-up observations.
- Support preparation of daily quality reports and audit documentation.

Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions





- Identify and segregate non-conforming products or materials as per SOP.
- Coordinate with production teams to investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Verify effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions.
- Escalate recurring quality concerns to the QA/QC Manager.

Coordination & Continuous Improvement

- Work closely with production, warehouse, and QA/QC teams to maintain quality standards.
- Support internal audits, process validations, and product trials.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to reduce process defects, wastage, and rework.
- Support training of production employees on quality requirements and food safety practices.

Candidate Profile

- Graduate or diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Dairy Technology, or a related field.
- 1-5 years of experience in IPQC / QC within food manufacturing, bakery, confectionery, dairy, or F&B; production.
- Knowledge of GMP, GHP, HACCP, food safety practices, and quality documentation.
- Familiarity with in-process checks, product specifications, and non-conformance handling.
- Solid attention to detail, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a production environment and rotational shifts
- Male candidates preferred (due to shift requirements).
