Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical maintenance activities in hot rolling mills, ensuring optimal equipment performance and minimizing downtime.
- Manage SMS (Steel Melting Shop) operations, including DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) handling and billet casting processes.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure smooth operation of all mechanical systems, meeting quality standards.
- Develop and implement effective preventive maintenance schedules to reduce breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
- Collaborate with vendors for procurement of spare parts, consumables, and services related to mechanical equipment.
