Position Overview

Looking for a skilled and motivated Junior Executive / Operator to join the Proto shop team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC Turn-Mill machines to manufacture precise engineering components.

Key Responsibilities & Skills Required

- Machine Operation: Hand-on experience operating CNC Turn-Mill machines, specifically with Haas control.
- Programming & Software: Knowledge of CNC Turn-Mill machine programming and NX CAM programming.
- Tooling & Parameters: Selection of cutting tools and setting appropriate machining parameters.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to study complex engineering drawings, plans,



and thoroughly understand dimensions, tolerances, and symbols.
- Quality Inspection: Hands-on experience using different types of measuring instruments to inspect component settings.
- Documentation: Basic knowledge of M.S. Office and M.S. Excel for reporting.

Candidate Specifications

- Education: ITI or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

- Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience as a CNC Turn-Mill Setter and Operator.

- Desirable Competencies: Robust understanding of machining processes, GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and knowledge of turning inserts and their applications.
