Job Description:

GMP Technical Solutions is looking for an experienced Utility Design Engineer to join our team at the Ghatkopar Head Office, Mumbai.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing pharmaceutical utility systems and should have worked on Pharma, Pharmaceutical, Cleanroom or Turnkey projects.

The candidate should have a valuable understanding of pharmaceutical utilities, design drawings, utility requirements and estimation activities, along with practical working knowledge of AutoCAD.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and prepare layouts for pharmaceutical utility systems.
- Understand client requirements and convert them into suitable design solutions.
- Prepare utility layouts, design drawings and technical documentation.
- Work on utility load calculations and equipment selection.
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs and cost estimates.
- Prepare technical data sheets and other project-related documents.
- Review design drawings and make changes as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors for technical details and quotations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including Project, Planning and Procurement.
- Support project teams with design-related information and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:





- 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Utility Design.
- Mandatory experience in Pharma, Pharmaceutical, Cleanroom or Turnkey projects.
- Good understanding of pharmaceutical utility systems such as Purified Water, WFI, Compressed Air and other process utilities.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical utility systems and their applications.
- Hands-on experience in AutoCAD.
- Understanding of utility layouts, design drawings and utility requirements.
- Knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation and technical documentation.
- Good coordination and communication skills.

Important: Candidates must have relevant experience in Pharma, Pharmaceutical, Cleanroom or Turnkey projects. Experience in these industries is mandatory for this position.
