Role & responsibilities :

- Inspect incoming plastic scrap for contamination, moisture, dust, and impurities.
- Identify and segregate plastic grades such as PP, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, and PPCP.
- Monitor quality at different stages of washing, shredding, extrusion, and pelletising processes.
- Conduct finished product testing, including Melt Flow Index (MFI), moisture content, colour, bulk density, ash content, and contamination.
- Ensure finished granules meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain daily QC reports, batch-wise inspection records, MIS, and calibration documents.
- Identify quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for continuous quality improvement.
- Ensure laboratory housekeeping, 5S, and safety compliance.

Qualification:

Diploma / B.Sc.



/ B.Tech in Chemistry, Polymer Technology, Plastics Technology, or a relevant discipline.

Required Skills:

- 1-3 years of experience in plastic recycling, plastic processing, or polymer manufacturing.
- Knowledge of PP, HDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, and PPCP polymers.
- Hands-on experience in Melt Flow Index (MFI) and moisture testing.
- Basic understanding of plastic recycling and extrusion processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Positive analytical, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Preferred: Candidates with hands-on QC experience in recycled plastic granules manufacturing and blow film applications.
