Job Summary:

By joining us as a Logistics Associate you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's logistics operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods from origin to destination. This role involves strategic planning, execution, and analysis of logistics processes, with a focus on improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

- Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with overall company objectives.
- Analyze current logistics processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions
- Manage relationships with transportation providers (carriers, freight forwarders, etc.)
- Monitor transportation performance and address any issues or delays.
- Implement and manage transportation management systems (TMS) or implement Logistics tracker software for monitoring end to end dispatch process.
- Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring productive storage, handling, and distribution of goods.
- Manage the packing process .
- Optimize the packing processes to improve efficiency and throughput.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with inventory management teams to optimize inventory levels and maintaining 100% stock accuracy in the finished goods.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and potential risks.
- Collaborate with Project management and finance team and regularize the sales return process frequently.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs, import/export, and transportation laws.

For This Role, You Will Need:

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.




- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the skills to apply technology and systems specific to the department required.
- Job holder reports to the Manager Stores & Logistics.
- Building trust and relationship with customers, internal relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Maintain proficiency in collaboration tools (SharePoint, Teams, Server).
- Experience in documentation system is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics and dispatch process.
- Experience in valve industry or relevant, e.g., manufacturing, industrial product & heavy engineering unit.
- Experienced in MS office suite, Adobe Writer.
- Understand the nature of the job requirements.
- Carry out duties with minimum supervision.
- Better understanding of the process and able to offer solutions.
