1. Role Objective

Lead end-to-end execution of wind power projects, ensuring timely, secure and cost-effective project delivery. Drive EPC execution, WTG erection, civil and electrical construction, power evacuation, contractor management and commissioning across multiple project sites.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. EPC & Project Execution

- Lead end-to-end execution of wind projects from project handover to commissioning.
- Drive EPC contractors to achieve project milestones, timelines and quality standards.
- Oversee civil works, roads, crane pads, foundations and electrical infrastructure.
- Monitor project progress and resolve critical execution bottlenecks.
- Drive recovery plans for delayed projects.

B. WTG Erection & Commissioning

- Lead WTG erection and commissioning activities across project sites.
- Review erection strategies, crane deployment, resource planning and productivity.
- Ensure optimum utilization of cranes, manpower and erection infrastructure.
- Coordinate with OEMs for timely mechanical and electrical completion.
- Drive commissioning, grid synchronization and project handover.

C. Contractor & OEM Management

- Manage EPC contractors, WTG OEMs, erection contractors and key vendors.
- Monitor contractor performance, productivity, quality and contractual commitments.
- Resolve execution challenges and ensure accountability for delivery.

D. Project Planning & Monitoring

- Drive integrated project schedules and milestone tracking.
- Monitor critical paths, resource deployment, project progress and execution risks.




- Conduct regular project reviews and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure timely completion of project milestones.

E. Power Evacuation

- Oversee construction of substations, pooling stations and transmission lines.
- Ensure timely completion of power evacuation infrastructure.
- Coordinate with utilities and relevant agencies for grid connectivity and synchronization.

F. Cost, Safety & Quality

- Manage project CAPEX and ensure execution within approved budgets.
- Drive cost optimization and resource productivity.
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards, statutory requirements and quality specifications.
- Promote a zero-harm safety culture across all project sites.

G. Team & Stakeholder Management

- Lead Project Heads, Site Heads and construction teams.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, Land, Finance and O&M; teams.
- Act as the escalation point for critical project execution matters.
- Report project progress, risks and corrective actions to senior management.

3. Qualification & Experience

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- MBA/PGDM preferred.
- 20+ years of experience in renewable energy project execution.
- Extensive experience in utility-scale wind projects.
- Strong experience in EPC management, WTG erection, commissioning and construction.
- Proven track record of managing multiple project sites and large project teams.
